JOIN THE REAL LIFE CHATROOM!! It was the dawn of the Third Age of Fankind. The LOTNA Project was a dream given form. Its goal - to create a place where science fiction fans could meet up. It is a port of call, a home away from home for Trekkers, Whovians, Browncoats, 'Scapers and more. Sci-Fi fans chatting, watching sci-fi, playing games and more under a single roof on a planet spinning at a thousand miles an hour, all alone in the night. It can be a silly place but is our last, best hope for S …

We work our way through the categories each month, and invite members to nominate books from the list. Once nominations have been received, all members vote for their choice. The Centre will provide a forum where writers and scholars from various disciplines can discuss folk narratives, fairy tales and fantasy works, bot …

This is a group for anyone who reads, watches or writes Science Fiction & Fantasy (everything from Star Wars to Philip K Dick to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and beyond, my own tastes are nothing if not catholic). The aim is to get together a group of like minds over a few pints of real ale (or whatever takes your fancy) and have lots of trivial chats about things related to the SF and Fantasy genres. Hopefully some arguments will break-out but nothing too serious (or will lead to fisticuffs). Also …

This is a group for any new generation writer interested in getting published. All genres are welcome. We started this group to meet other writers and to find creative ways of overcoming challenges that face many of today's writers. We will invite publishers or literary agents to most of our meetings, so hopefully we can facilitate the recognition of new talent from our midst. Looking forward to meeting everybody.”
We meet at least twice a month to discuss all things Science/Sci-Fi from gadgets to writing. You will find us very approachable and friendly. Everyone welcome, no need to come to each meeting (we meet on the first Monday evening and fourth Saturday at 11am) each month. We often arrange film viewings if there's something many of us wish to watch and then discuss afterwards. We have arranged trips in the past to the Science Museum in London and plan to do more this year. Come along and see for you …
